Terms and Conditions
- The seller agrees to remove and return registration plates to the authority.
- The vendor warrants that the goods here stated are his/her sole property and are free of encumbrance both at law
and in quality, and there is no impediment whatsoever to his/her giving possession and a good title to the goods
immediately upon the execution of this agreement. The covenants in this clause shall constitute a condition precedent of
this agreement. Further, should the purchaser suffer any loss through a breach of this clause by the vendor, the vendor
will, upon demand, make good to the full any and all such losses. Goods sold remain the property of the vendor until
financial transaction is completed. - The payment is G.S.T inclusive.
- Komail Auto Recyclers Ltd, Trading as (Green Auto Wreckers), take no responsibility for outstanding registration and
road user charges, if any.
Motor Vehicle Register – Privacy Notice
“Green Auto Wreckers may obtain the name and address of the registered person of a motor vehicle from the Motor Vehicle Register (MVR) under section 241 of the Land Transport Act 1998, as authorised by New Zealand Gazette Notice 2022-au4073.
MVR information is collected, used and disclosed only for the following authorised purposes:
To confirm that the vendor is the registered person of a motor vehicle that Green Auto Wreckers, as a Motor Vehicle Trader, is proposing to purchase.
To assist in verifying that a change of registered person has been completed correctly for a transaction in which Green Auto Wreckers is the purchaser or seller.
MVR information will not be collected, used or disclosed for any purpose outside these authorised purposes and will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and the conditions of our section 241 authorisation.
Individuals may opt out of having their name and address made available under a section 241 authorisation. Further information and the opt-out process are available through Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency here:
